Contrasts….

Out for an early walk in drizzly weather. A willow is just starting to change to autumn gold. In the distance are some Cabbage Trees. The contrast in shape and form is striking.
A busy day despite rain . Early afternoon Duncan took Ellen and me on a tiki tour of various neighborhoods of Blenheim… interesting seeing such a variety of housing styles. We then drove out of town to “The Vines Village” for coffee. They have since returned home to Motueka. It was great fun having them to visit.
