Over The Hills and Far Away
Finally I'm back up to date with my blips, I hate being behind.
It was another lovely day today so when I got home I decided it was a nice night to go out for a blip but due to one thing and another I didn't get out till about 8.30 pm.
I drove up past the park and noticed that the fun fair had arrived for our Hunter and Lass gala day on Saturday.
The music was playing and the lights were flashing so I was tempted but might save that for another day. I kept driving up to the high road and parked the car in the layby and took several shots of the lovely Pentland Hills. The Hunter and Lass with all the other riders will be hacking across these on Saturday morning before they head into Penicuik to lead the parade around the town in the afternoon.
Some great blip opportunities coming up over the next few days. I have looked at the forecast and the weather is to be kind to us over the next few days too, so when they get installed into their offices tomorrow it will hopefully be bathed in sunshine, fingers crossed.
The poor man who is going to be the Hunter this year fell of his horse last night and has broken his shoulder so don't know if he will be able to do his duties this year or if they will have to get someone else. I'm sure they will get it sorted in time for the installation tomorrow.
My blip for tonight is the beautiful Pentlands that will see some action over the weekend, but hopefully no more people falling out of the saddle.
