April Showers

There were some really heavy and sudden showers today. I love it when you get a silver line on the horizon.

It looks like a ‘mono’ photo but only the tiny bit of blue sky shows it was taken in colour.

The tourists are starting to appear. Half of Charlestown was blocked off with barriers this morning. There was filming going on - odd to choose a Saturday and when the school holidays have started! I asked one of the barrier defenders what was being filmed and was told ‘an independent comedy’. I saw a bunch of actors vanishing into a massive trailer but wasn’t close enough to see if there was anyone famous! I just saw that most were wearing those dryrobes - they seem ideal for when actors have to wait around in the cold. From what I’ve seen on many occasions, ‘acting’ on location seems to involve a lot of waiting around.
