Iron and steel

On my way to Barrow-in-Furness we passed a nice bit of ironwork on a small station platform. It was a rather grey afternoon so the views over the Morecambe Bay estuary were not as picturesque as usual.
In the evening went to a jolly event at a pub-cum-working men’s club called The Kill One, an odd name we thought. It was so called apparently as it used to be opposite a steel works and catered for workers who after their shift could “kill one” - we all know that feeling.
