No parking

Usual Saturday morning walk to pick up paper and croissants, they do come round very quickly. The funeral directors window is always good but today they had little knitted last supper on display, very appropriate.Headed for the cottage after breakfast and as hubby was driving I had a play on my phone. I don’t bother that much with Facebook but noticed something of interest. The village was holding the Allendale challenge today, twenty six miles walk or run starting and ending in the village. I realised that would mean we could have a problem parking the camper. It was very busy when we arrived and had to pull onto the paving in front of the cottage, which is not ideal, but once the walkers had finished we managed to move to a safer spot.
Off for a walk and spotted a few competitors arriving back, we had seen a few coming down the hill about eight miles back up the valley. Cooked dinner and now about to settle down for our usual Saturday night film.
