Asha's 12!

There must be a mistake, I think we need a recount of the years...
A chilled and low key birthday, but a lovely one. Breakfast in the port with this view that's in my main. The kids had pancakes with Nutella and strawberries - a decent birthday breakfast!! Asha also had nails done today, gifts, messages...Then at 5 Stephen and Gemma arrived for board games, which is what Asha had requested. So we played several games and ate nachos and finger foods. Then about 8pm the doorbell went and Susanna and Ashana from Switzerland turned up!! Susanna has arrived for 2 months, Asha wasn't expecting to see them today. Asha and Ashana had a tight bond last summer, so Ash was delighted to see her again. A lovely extra to her special day.  A few extras of the kids. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) All the many people who love Asha so well.
2) 12 years of her in our family. Each stage of parenting her is new, exciting and challenging!
3) Asha gratitude for today and the various activities...she's a joy (99% of the time, ha!).
