Winning

Today it was my (Annie’s) turn to get out of the house while Chris cat sat. A friend of ours had arranged a car treasure hunt around Newbury / Hungerford area, and I met up with the group just after lunch. 3 and a half hours of solving clues and finding places made trickier by me being a team of 1! I memorised a few turns on the map, drove a bit, memorised a few more (no phones or satnavs allowed).

This church was one of the beautiful places we visited on the way. So many lovely roads to nose about on!

I was up against a team of two and team of three - but as we’d won last year we joked it was good for me to have a handicap. Um… I won. :)
