Standing out from the crowd

Marvellous bit of architecture The Gherkin. All around is angles and boxes and yet it soars up gracefully into the sky like a Zeppelin stood on end.

We were walking back to Waterloo from Spitalfields market where we had had a whale of a time buying clothes and jewellery. I also had a damn fine cup of coffee. 

Excellent day. Ate salads, drank no booze, 15,000 steps. We are in training for the steps of Lisbon in July. We shall prevail.
