Swathes

Taken Ronnie on two walks so far, a short one before breakfast and a longer one along the canal late morning.
Then walked down to Skipton on my own.
This meant l have passed these swathes of daffodils four times and that is no hardship as they are so uplifting.
Don’t know who planted them but they are well thought out using a mixture of varieties and choosing batches that flower at different times.
There are still lots in bud that will flower in a couple of weeks so it makes the display last about three times as long as just planting one type.

Went to the sport shoe shop and found it was its 4th Birthday so l enjoyed a complementary glass of Prosecco and a slice of stone baked pizza from the van they had hired.
I bought a pair of New Balance as my current pair are getting really shabby and worn.Pleased to support an independent shop too.
The high street was packed and there was a good atmosphere as the sun was shining.
Then found a Gudrun Sjoden dress in Oxfam for £6.99 so that made my day.

Heard from Rebecca while l was out , two have done their auditions and both unhappy with their own performance, that’s nothing new.
Imagine Kitty is doing hers as l write this.
