But Mommmmmmm, you normally let me stop up late...

Eva did not properly wake up today til 10 AM!! 10 AM I tell you! After her wash, getting dressed, some playing time, feed and some C Beebies while I had my shower, she was spark out again by half 11 lol! I thought, right, tonight I'm gonna put you to bed earlier, much earlier lol! So, 7.45 PM came and up we went to get ready for bed, and in bed, fast sleep by 8.20 PM .... Result! To be honest it felt so weird being sat downstairs without her. An hour went by before she was awake for a milk top up then back asleep. By 10.20 PM she was awake again crying this time, so Daddy went up and let her watch a bit of In The Night Garden on his phone (think he secretly wanted cuddles) then I come up to settle her back down and today's cover pic is how I was greeted (not great quality as no flash on the iPad) snuggle bear in her arm, legs in the air and a big smile on her face - I just melt when I see her, she does it to me every time. Out she came for milk and cuddles in between Mommy and Daddy and in less than 20 minutes she was sound asleep holding snuggle bear in one hand and my finger in the other. Now we're in bed, she's been asleep back in her own bed for over an hour without so much as a peep bless her, maybe she's comforted knowing we're just there beside her?
I wonder whether we'll try the same again tomorrow night at bedtime or just go back to our usual way. We'll see....... :-) xxx
