Special Days

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

The Mini Princesses and I were visiting Victor and Mary Doll today and we ended up talking about Easter and the significant day that surround it.

We spoke about how Easter is decided every year; that it’s 47 days after Shrove Tuesday which is followed by Ash Wednesday (and the start of Lent) and that Easter week has Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

YMP: “What’s the day that comes after Black Friday?”

Silence in the room for a few seconds.

EMP: “Do you mean…Cyber Monday?”

YMP: “Yeah”

Me: “Not normally big dates in religious calendars* unless we’re going to start sacrificing iPads”

I really should have done basic religious education.
