Lido magic

We are lucky to have a Lido, built in 1935 for the city. I swam here as a child, took my kids and had so many fantastic times here.
 It has been under closure threat for years but keeps going ( being listed helps but not guaranteed) and opened today for the season. I persuaded hubby to join me on its first session of 2023 along with a few of my fellow bluetits. It was a tropical 20°c, a bit higher than I have been swimming in so was gorgeous. Hubby was not so sure but a full English was promised after which helped him "enjoy"! his swim :)) swam a lot further than I expected, so good to know I can still do it! We headed of for the full English and a long dog walk to walk off the full English!!! Family friends for tea ( fish and chips) good job I did swim further than I thought!.
