Out to the village green for the monthly Bearsted market. Very popular, the most stalls and people we’ve seen there for a long time.

We continued our walk through the Woodland Trust in improving weather as the clouds broke and a mysterious golden orb appeared in the sky.

It was an afternoon of gardening, cut the grass for the first time this year, all the edging and around the stepping stones across the grass. Mended a fence and potted on some plug tomatoes that were delivered yesterday.

Had a chat with Landon, Carly and Chris in California as they were on their way to Legoland. The wonders of video technology. Madison was facing wrong way for us to see her but we had seen some entertaining shots of her earlier. Had quite a conversation with Landon as he was strapped in his seat and couldn’t escape.
