Marton Church
A beautiful sunny day in Congleton where we spent a lovely and entertaining afternoon with Julia, Sam, Alice and Ralph.
As we left we stopped off at St Jame's & St Paul's Church, Marton,
a beautiful church with a founding date of 1343. This Grade I listed building is possibly the oldest timber framed church of its kind in Europe.
It sits in the Diocese of Macclesfield and is in regular use.
