Precision ironing

When I’m making a binding I might be a little over the top in detail. I’ve found that ironing on gingham works really well for accuracy!  

The cerise fabric started at 3 inches wide, then you reduce it by stretching to 2 inches, before making a bias binding which ends up at 1/2 inc
