Greenfinch

A nice day, overcast this morning and glorious Spring sunshine this afternoon. 

Couldn't resist taking a few shots of the Greenfinches in the garden. Two pairs, taking advantage of the sunflower hearts. Main and extra. 

This morning we had a delivery. A blooming great trailer. A local farmer has offered us the trailer to dispose of the old roof tiles. He can use the tiles as hardcore on his farm. And we save over three hundred pounds which is the price of a skip. Win win... Extra. 

And this evening we drove up to the quarry at the summit of Clee Hill. It's a bleak place, but has some fine views. I will be here again but the other extra shows a view of the quarry and the radar dome. A strange place..
