Last Day of Vacation

And another rainy day...in fact it POURED for much of the morning. My ex-sister-in-law who has recently moved to Portland from Santa Fe, New Mexico came over mid-morning. We had planned to go look at nurseries and go plant hunting, but one look a the miserable weather stopped that plan cold. So we eventually went out to brunch, well, lunch really. Had a great time catching up. We call each other sisters since we share the last name and it's so much easier than explaining the relationship. 

Then spent the rest of the afternoon puttering around, still organizing stuff - mostly it's all stuffed in my office now....groan.

These lovely tulips are cut flowers - I took them outside to get some good light and the rain made them a great subject for a drippy blip.
