Rocky home
A beautiful morning for a row -- I love the rocks on the little island north of us with the sun and shadows on this sandstone rock, the abstract lines, the yellow colors and the yellow flowers, stonecrop and something else there too. And it's home in it's crevices to a colony of Pigeon Guillemot ducks who shriek and whip around us as we row by., So when this little one with his red feet posed on his "front porch" I thought it deserved the blip. (You might have to look large).
We took our worker bee friends back late this afternoon to catch the ferry home and are grateful for all the help they gave us getting this place ready for summer. (It wasn't TOO much work I don't think! :-) ) And soon now we are expecting Musings and her hubby on their boat from Roche Harbor to tie up at our dock .....more about that tomorrow!
