On the way south to visit daughter A and her family we visited RHS Bridgewater near Manchester. The jacket of a man taking a photo of 'The Bride' cherry tree seemed to be the same colour of the bright blue sky. Children were excitedly following an Easter Egg trail and enjoying playing in the woods where the old Bridgewater Ent was 'guarding the trees'. With the garden being new and many of the plants being herbaceous, there was not as much colour as there had been last September when we visited but the displays of bulbs were good and was still worth a visit.
