CAUGHT IN THE ACT
My first bird blip! It's no where near as easy as you would guess. They move so quickly and don't stay put long enough to try different camera settings, so it's just a matter of luck at my level. I have a new appreciation for the clear, beautiful shots I see on blip. Believe me, those shots take skill!
This little chickadee landed on the feeder many times, but was easily scared away. Finally, he was just determined to get a seed before taking off again. I'm sure he was watching me, and wanted to say, "There, I finally got one!"
Visiting Betsy, I have access to bird feeders and lots of subject matter, but I have to learn tons more about the camera - how to adjust for distance and lighting, etc. before I can hope for any good shots. Oh well, that's what the blip experience is all about - meeting the challenge to pick up the camera every day and developing skills along the way. The other incredible bonus is appreciating so many things I've either taken for granted or never really noticed before.
