Inn of the Loretto

The Inn of the Loretto is a landmark boutique hotel at the end of the Santa Fe Trail in Santa Fe. It is one of my favorites. I love the pueblo style architecture with all its different levels and chimneys. At Christmas time they place farolitos (small paper bags with a little sand in the bottom and a tea light candle) all along all the flat surfaces and it looks just magical. (They are actually electric replicas but they look the part).

This was a hurried drive-by shot while I was waiting at the lights and grabbed my camera. Part of the name is obscured by trees, but it looks pretty anyway.
