Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We are off to Rome early tomorrow from Glasgow.

Family travelling with minimal sleep is always a precarious business so we decided to head through Glasgow tonight to stay in an airport hotel so have a long lie until 4:45 am instead of the unreasonably early time of 3:30 am!

The Eldest Mini Princess likes to play ‘airport bingo’…

* Mum is an airport dad and takes control of ALL the passports and documents
* Dad takes all the luggage
* Mum & Dad both mention that every airport in the world is better organised than Edinburgh airport
* Mum and YMP complain that there’s NOTHING to eat in the food venue chosen by Dad and EMP
* Dad and EMP giggle about the rage over the chosen food venue
* No one will admit they they are exhausted and a bit stressed.
* Dad gets annoyed by people clogging up security by slowly unpacking their trays as they come through instead of taking them to the unpacking area
* Dad decides he works at security and removes the abandoned trays
* We get on the plane last because “the plane can’t take off until the last person gets on”

She’s hoping for a full house!

C
