My mother's day
As the real Mother's day coincided with my teaching weekend & daughters being either away at uni or on shift at work, my daughters organised an 'alternative' Mother's Day. It was a perfect date as we were all off and the sun was shining (also first day of a two week holiday for me!).
They had many surprises for me including breakfast, a pottery painting session (at Canny Crafty at Wheelbirks farm), presents and an amazing homemade afternoon tea.
Cue Queen:
"It's a beautiful day,
The sun is shining,
I feel good,
Nothing's gonna stop me now"
