It's a small world!

I've been leading weekly tutoring sessions after school and this week's topic was looking at cells through a microscope. Believe it or not, this is a dry, brown, dead oak leaf - doesn't it look beautiful?

In other news, I found out that our new science trainee lives down the little lane opposite my house. 

It's been a 'small world day' today in lots of ways!
