Spiral....

This is part of a plant that will always be a weed to me. It is a vine that sends runners underground and new vines sprout from it. It has been driving me crazy for about 3 years. When I got home this evening I walked around the yard and was surprised by how many of these were starting to take hold in the flower beds (thanks to recent rains). I then began to notice the different shapes of the vine tendrils. While this invasive annoyance is not attractive to me, I thought my sister (who is mildly obsessed with the spiral shape) might appreciate it...
