Top of Castle Rock...

Wet and cold weather today.
I managed to get outside for a while and had a go on the zoom of the new camera.
This is a shot of the very top of Castle Rock, and shows the damage that the earthquakes have done to it! You can compare the size of some of the rocks that have fallen as if you look close you will see a few sheep are grazing around the edges.
During the largest EQ we were in the firing line for some of those rocks , as we were up at my mother in laws who lives right below there, and we could hear and see them coming down the hill , it was one of the most frightening things of my life!

In yesterdays shot this is the very highest point of the view that I took , looking towards the hills.
