Winter and I don't Understand

I don't get April Fools anything. In my mind it is saying on this one day it is funny to lie to people. It's funny to pull pranks? No clue why this is so hilarious to anyone. May just be the way I think. I should know better than to go online April 1st! I'll never understand it so just going to let it go.
