Meanwhile in New Zealand

A dull and cold day here after two sunny ones, and a bit of a frustrating one. Some  wrestling with a grant form and pondering over Kickstarter, all very complicated and a lot of work. Sigh.

Still we had a great chit chat with Joe and Esme last night. She had been to a party and there was a cream cake and a chocolate cake and the party girl, aged one, had got cream up her nose!  She is now very interested  in snakes, and in making dens - but they have to be just right (the den not the snake).These photos arrived this morning and she is now mad keen on her balance bike having been a bit reluctant before. What a gorgeous early evening light too.
