Kitchen window blip

It’s always hard to get up and go to work when schools are out! I did sleep well, however.

Campus was “like the Mary Celeste”, as my mum would say. I spoke to her at lunchtime, as I do every day, and she reported (as is the norm these days) that she is tired and has no ‘get up and go’. My nephew turned up as I was talking to her, which he does most days, and I asked if she would like him to take her on a walk around the block as it was nice and sunny. She declined on the principle that she can’t see anything to appreciate it; I made sure to soak up everything I saw thereafter!

Although campus was deserted, all my students turned up, which is great!

Short run this evening, and not a day missed this year.
