Start of the hols

It was easy to see that we were into holiday time as I drove over to the studio in Guildford this morning: the roads were completely empty. I guess everyone is sitting in a traffic queue waiting to cross The Channel. But what's not to like right here in one's own back garden? It was quite warm in the sun today and there is plenty more forecast for the rest of the week and into next (not before time).

I had a pleasant time screenprinting in the studio. We have the possibility of a couple of exhibitions in the next few months so I feel I need to make some new 'stock'. I plan to continue tomorrow.

The drive home was equally easy and traffic free. Why can't it always be like that?
