Snake In The Garden

In fact a snake's-head fritillary. These are in decline in the wild and classified as vulnerable due to the loss of meadows in our English countryside, so I think it must be good to grow them in the garden and help preserve them. 

Suits me anyway, I think they are beautiful flowers.
