M40

Quick snap as we travelled up the M40. Could have done without the 50 minute delay on the M6. But that was because we decided to not do the toll road. Having spent £20 on a Burger King meal at the services, we thought we’d make up for it by not paying the toll fare! That’ll teach us for being tight!

The builders obviously wanted us out of the way as quick as possible, so we loaded up the car and headed up north before breakfast was had. Hence the burger stop for brunch.

Jodie and family were still here after their weekend visit, so it was good to spend sometime with all the family together in the sunny garden. Jodie back home now, and we are settled in for our 2 week or more visit up here.
