Black backed gull with starfish.

Decided it was time that I took some more bird photos, so headed off down the beach to see if anything there. Saw a couple of Seagulls, one I them had something that it was carrying as it walked away from the other one.
Managed to get reasonably close and I saw that it had a Star fish. After pulling off some its arms off (?) & eating them , the gull then dropped it, & the other one came over. Then they preceded to pull what was left apart, and both got a piece each to finished off.
Never seen that before.
