Concert

Today was the day for another concert together with Emma Ebintra, the young woman I helped accompanying when she sang Paul McCartneys "Blackbird" in February. Her employer, the Linné university in Växjö was pleased with what they heard us do and gave us another chance to perform during the opening of "FestiWell 2023", a series of workshops gathering students from , I think, 12 universities throughout Europe under the heading: "Upskill, Connect and Celebrate". Emma and me were doing four songs during the opening ceremony.

"Inspired by the European Union’s announcement of 2023 as the European Year of Skills, FestiWell 2023 focus on offering various workshops, lectures and activities that explore, among others, the importance of developing academic, communicative, and creative skills. The themes are entrepreneurship, digitalisation, employability, and soft skills. There will also be a number of well-being activities and social activities surrounding the event."


We were pleased with our part of the opening ceremony and got a good response among the participants.


Växjö is a one and a half hours drive away so we weren't home until three o'clock, I was quite tired and didn't do much, apart from preparing for a rehearsing session for another concert tomorrow morning. It's good night from Öland.
