Primroses

It's been a gloriously warm, sunny, day. Our friendly  landscape contractors, M and O, decided to replace some rotten  wooden retaining sleepers in our garden, and to leave replacing the  pond liner until next week, which was fine by us. I got involved in pruning the Coronilla  shrub so they could clean out channels for the new sleepers.  The tortoise spent the day chasing the sun to get maximum benefit from the solar  energy. M and O were pleased to see him enjoying his new enclosure  which  they built for him last month. This clump of  primroses is growing in the "lawn".
