Trying to Fill a Gap

Or maybe the tree caused the gap in the first place?
Somewhat like the chicken and egg conundrum.

Another sunny day with blue skies and another minimalist landscape.  This tree is growing far from any other tree and stands out as a loner from any direction.

I know that years ago, I blipped a somewhat similar image but obviously didn't use any appropriate tags because I cannot find it for comparison.  I hope I now don't lose track of this one too.
