Something I love

I gave my photography students the assignment this week - 'Something I love'. They are to take two photographs (one in colour and one monochrome) of something they love. I like to do the assignments with them, so this is my colour offering.

I love to write and I love fountain pens. I also love roses.

I was going to write you a poem to go with the photo, but have just realised that my poetry writing mojo has up and gone for now. Pretty full day, with the R family coming around for a cuppa and a chat in about 4o mins.

I'd better go and feed the animals and myself. Pio is currently curled up on Cousteau's bed, and Cousteau is nowhere to be seen. He'll turn up as soon as I rattle his food bowl.
