Cabin John Trail

My husband and I headed our early for a hike along one of the many trails here in Montgomery County.  This hike had some significant elevation gains and was about 3.5 miles long so I made a decision not to take my camera with the big lens and instead opted for the very small RX100 M7. 

We came across this fellow about 2 miles in and I was pleased that he was close enough to be able to capture.  

A short while after we passed him, we had to cross this stream at a point where it was quite wide, but very shallow and even though there were rocks to step on, some of them were quite loose and I ended up with some slightly wet feet.  It was of no consequence.  We finished the hike and felt all the better for it.
