Tacos

Tacos, refried beans, and rice.

We had an amazing hike into the Grand Canyon today: about 14 miles and 7000 feet elevation change. Aside from being extremely cold at the rim and higher elevations in the canyon, the weather held out well in spite of concerning forecasts this week. We got some light sleet in the last couple miles, but our rain jackets were up to the challenge. We were exhausted and looked forward to pizza and beer for dinner, but the pizza place ran out or dough after twenty minutes to get to the second position in line. We ended up with rather poorly done and exorbitantly priced tacos instead (but this is often a problem in places with captive audiences). Now to bed early...
