Blooms, Click and Run

I was worried yesterday of not being able to take a photo of a memorial before we leave as we were pressed for time today.. I need not worry after all! Woke up at 2:00am, had a shower, sorted everything out.. Out the house at 3:30am, stopped by 3 blocks away from our place -- BLOOMS, CLICK and RUN! So this is literally SOOC, and taken only once, no other chance to recompose or whatever.. Not too bad eh?!

This sculpture is titled "BLOOMS"

Made by the artist Hilary Cartmel, 2007; so still quite new. The plaque nearby reads:
"The scultpure and associated renovation works commemorate the 21st anniversary of the dedication of the Peace Gardens in 1986
Supported by MBC and Transform South Yorkshire"

Won't be making a long journal on this as we will be boarding the plane shortly.. Next time I blip will be from the Philippines! Yey!! No worries my dears, loads of monuments and memorials in the Philippines to fill up the remaining days of May, so wi-fi permitting, the blipsaga continues..
