Col de Balme

.... was our skiing highpoint today (main from there) at around 2 400m. Considering the time of year, the snow conditions were OK and we could ski a vertical descent of about 1 500 m back to the village. At the highpoints, we were above the clouds. A post ski swim and late lunch sharing board. Extra: R in his new jacket (to replace a very similar one which had been very well used for at least 10 yrs) . I m pleased it is very similar as makes him easy to spot.
