Spring at Last

Hurrah...a full day of sun, still a little chilly if I'm being picky but one of the best spring days so far.  M and I did a tour of a couple of garden centres this morning on the hunt for some new plants, not successful, but we have some new ideas for our re-designed area of the garden, so a worthwhile trip.

This afternoon, B and I walked in the Glaven Valley, around the Bayfield Estate, stopping for a cup of tea in the delightful Natural Surroundings Cafe.  It was while sitting there that I spotted this lovely flowering currant.  The bees were enjoying it too.
