Inspired by Kendal’s coat of arms.

I have walked over this mosaic on my way into the library many times without really to stop and look at it. I know that the motto means ‘Wool is my Bread’ and that Kendal is famous for its Kendal Green cloth mentioned by Shakespeare in Henry IV part one. I looked on the internet for more information and discovered that ‘sheilwill’ has beaten me by ten years! Check out her blipfoto for 12.02.13.
