A bit of a disturbed night as Phin wouldn’t settle and kept leaping on and off the bed and barking at nothing until after midnight. I hope he wasn’t too loud and disturbing other people and luckily there was only one other van beside us.

We had a nice walk along the beach first thing, well it was lovely until Phin found half a dead seagull in the seaweed and scoffed a wing before I got him away!

Bacon roll for breakfast before we got packed up and ready to head down the road. Managed to get away just after 11 and were home by just before 2.

Miss PHL was at the house working from home and it was a lovely surprise to see her. Emptying the van and taking Phin for a run through the woods at Newbattle took up most of my afternoon. Miss PHL baked banana bread and mini Victoria sponges when she shut down her laptop.

The wee cakes were so sweet looking I’ve used them for today’s TinyTuesday as whilst they’re not really tiny they are mini cakes and tasted so very delicious. Thanks to MaryElizaR for hosting.
