The British

Peter Dench is a brilliant photographer , specialising in street and people photography. Particularly the British. The photo society was fortunate to have him come and speak to us this evening about his work. 

It was a revelation - so many clever, witty and amusing images with some that made you gasp with their shock element. Peter showed us a wide range of his work and explained how he goes about getting up close to people and getting the shot.

I tried to project the union jack flag from one of his pictures over Peter's face. A terrific evening with loads of ideas and food for thought.
