Season confusion

Up early to leave Aberdeen - dropped the old folk off at Edinburgh airport for their flight back to Devon, and then home for us.
Tried to ignore the unfinished decorating - tomorrows job.
The house seemed too quiet after a week with visitors. But got on with a few jobs. I’m encouraging a few house plants which seem happy to be ignored when we are from time to time. The cactus is sending out a flower which is a bit odd. I thought this was a Christmas cactus but found out recently that it’sa a thanksgiving cactus. Still shouldn’t be flowering.
