A Day Worth Recording

Gangsta's

One of the recently released Kickstarter (i.e. crowd-funded) games was Scarface 1920 - themed around the gang wars of Chicago.

It's not one that I'd backed but I was interested to give it a go.  It was fun but I'm unlikely to play it again as the sheer effort of reading minute text and weighing up the cards was just too much and as a result it was a long (4 hour) game.

A case, often fallen into by Kickstarted games, of prioritising art over practical gameplay.  It looked gorgeous and the theme was well fitted to the game (even if I was mentally in Peaky Blinder mode).
