Single swan

It has been a miserable day - damp and cold.  
So after being a domestic goddess (5 weeks worth of dust needing chasing around), I decided around afternoon tea time that, as it wasn't getting any drier, I'd drive over and see the swans.  I only found one, so hope the partner is sitting on a next somewhere. The canal is full of weed already - sad sight, but the swan was dipping down and feeding happily.
