Schwing!

My favouritest thing ever!!!
If you ever go to Amsterdam you HAVE to go to the A’Dam tower. Previously an old abandoned Shell building it was tendered by. Some creatives to create the most amazing experience. The lower floors are designed for music and the arts and changes by night to centre for music and nightlife.
On the top they installed a swing! Up you go on the Willy Wonky elevator with light show, and head to the viewing platform. The VR tour of Amsterdam was hysterical. Who needs Alton Towers when you can travel virtually all round Amsterdam chased by dragons and ..King Kong? Brilliant made more so when I finished before N and got to watch him grinning like a wee bit. Best to do on your last day because it travels back through all the places we got to know the last few days.
Then up we went to the roof where they have installed three swings which vertiginously swing you out over the lip of the building. The swing photos are NOT photoshopped. It was thrilling and moments of fear and lurches but just grinned from ear to ear.

Nosied the test of the day. A wee cheeky SLA for lunch sitting in the sunshine at the Rokin. Back home to Edinburgh with happy memories banked. Definitely be back, what a city!
