Raining when we got up but decided we would continue with our plans so waterproofs on, lunch packed and off we went.
Train from the lower station, single line, and again only one stop and then walked back. Excellent walk, mostly through forest. Busy path with lots of walkers. Met a lady as we joined the WHW and she asked if the path we were on lead to Tyndrum, we told her no the path we were joining and she was already on went to Tyndrum and that was around 6 miles. She said we were wrong and Tyndrum was the the village we had just come from. Convinced her and she walked on to the next group and asked the same question. Seemed odd that she was walking the 94 miles in five days and didn’t know where she was. Rained all day until about thirty minutes from end of walk and we managed to get dry, then it rained again.
Hetty was better on the train today, she had the lovely Bella for company. Hetty sat on my lap and Bella sat on the seat or came over to say hello.
